EXPO EAST & VIRTUAL ECO PLAY

The entire Expo East experience was amazing, If you can imagine over a thousand booths of alternative thinking people, along with thousands of alternative seekers.
With every sample of alternative food, vitamins, juices, body care, I felt my spirit and soul rising away from the mundane .

SEED Collective was invited by Seventh Generation to step into a entirely new setting. A generative step forward, that brought  many people to their booth. In a period of 24 hours a record 374 virtual trees where created. These trees will manifest in the Baltimore area in the coming year through funding from this ecollaboration. Sponsorship  from Seventh Generation will help “Tree-mendous Maryland”  a local urban reforestation volunteer organization.

Tree-Mendous Maryland has depended on thousands of volunteers to help re-forest the state of Maryland. With help from volunteers, the state has planted nearly 800,000 trees and seedlings every year for the past seven years. Training workshops are available in the spring and fall for volunteers to learn how to plant and care for trees. There’s also a training course in tree care and maintenance. These free worthwhile workshops will give you knowledge to help lead a tree project with your community or civic group, local park or school. So visit our site for details.

"The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago," said Terry Galloway, Certified Arborist and Director of Tree-mendous Maryland. "The next best time is at the Seventh Generation exhibit at the Convention Center this week. Trees and forests are the most beneficial land use for protecting and restoring the waters of the Chesapeake Bay, Maryland's greatest natural resource and number one environmental priority."
